Diapers and Disco

Babies. Parties. Parties. Babies. They are completely interchangeable and we have the weekend to prove it. Saturday we opened our home to the "Jasmine and Michael's Baby Shower Committee" (Kathy and Nicole). They swooped in and in no time set up a fiesta including food, drinks, decorations, and favors. What did we have to do? Nothing. Nothing at all except provide the space. Hosting a party where you really don't have to do anything is highly recommended. I'm not sure why all parties aren't like this. Makes the whole process stress free.

The 'ol guess the candy bar in the diaper game...

Yes, it is pretty funny.

Yes dear, these are diapers. Get used to them.

We arent sure where this face came from.

Sunday came the much anticipated Baby Loves Disco party in Boston. There is nothing better than taking your kids to a dance club for an afternoon of disco lights, cocktails, and kids snacks. It actually makes you feel like you are not just a parent but a "cool" parent. Where else can you have a drink at the bar while your kid is grooving on the dance floor and NOT feel like someone is going to call child protective servcies on you? And not to mention face painting and tattoos for the kids, eyebrow waxing for the women, and plasma tvs tuned to sports for the guys. Charlotte loved dancing and had to "take some breaks" as she said from all of the running around. We are looking forward to the next party in November.
