8 Months

Hard to believe Marvelous Maeve turned 8 months old over the weekend. We celebrated her 8 month birthday with a trip to the mall. Ohhh sooo exciting. Maeve continues to be extremely content. Happy to just be out and about, soaking it all in. She is growing quickly and that is not suprising judging by how much she eats. It is one of her favorite things to do (second to bathing). She has graduated from baby food to steak and red wine. Not really, but she has moved on to Oatie O's (no they are not generic cheerios, they are healthy cheerios) and whole rice bread. Not to mention whole banana and whatever else she can get her hands on. This morning Charlotte was eating a bowl of rice krispies next to her and Maeve quickly dug her hand in, grabbed a fistfull of wet rice krispies, and shoved them in her mouth. She is quick. You have to watch your food around her or else it will be gone. She has also learned to clap and dance. Its not pretty but its dancing. We are trying to catch it on video, but no luck so far. Other honorable mentions include almost crawling and going from all fours into a sit up position ( you know the move if you are a parent) and her bottom tooth finally popped through! Oh and of course there are the pigtails. This girl has some LONG hair!
