The Little Sister

Maeve found her feet last week. This week she took it to a whole new level. She quickly found it fun to put her little feet and toes into her mouth at any chance she got. Covering her toes in drool as she laughs away. She is so close to rolling over on her own. We anticipate it will be any day.

She is no longer "baby" Maeve, but is now "little sister" Maeve. Maeve is figuring out her sister and has been responding accordingly. Smiling as Charlotte says good morning. Laughing as Charlotte talks in baby talk to her. And crying as Charlotte bites her fingers. Charlotte quickly learned the fastest way to make it into time out is to bite your sister. She has only done it once, but poor Maeve will likely not soon forget the feeling of having your thumb chomped on by a 2 year old.

Thus the little sister torture has begun. Maeve we have tried to protect you for as long as possible, but you are on your own. We simply can not watch you every moment of the day.

The dogs have found the best protection. Disguising themselves as something Charlotte is fearful of. Pirates. Thank you Captain Hook for helping us find a way to protect the dogs from Charlotte.

Maeve it's up to you if you want to try the disguise or not. However remember the feeling of having her little thumb chomped on by your big sister. Now what do you want to do?

Good idea.
