so mom could lay in bed and sleep in some more.
He shopped with her and came back to see,
mom was as happy as a clam as she should be.
For today was her day to have a whole lot of fun,
to play in the yard and go out in the sun.
We gathered the family and jumped in the car,
and drove to the petting farm that wasnt so far.
It wasnt exactly what mom had wanted to do,
but the beach was too cold and we didnt want to turn blue.
So instead we hit the farm and played with a horse
and goats, and cows, and pigs of course.
Charlotte had a giant smile from ear to ear
and she touched the baby goats with no fear.
The farm was a hit we must have to say,
and mom had a blast on her second Mothers day.
Saturday we went to Lisa and Ryans house for a little cookout. Charlotte of course had so much fun playing with Colin, Brodie, and Mason. Dad ate too many cheeseburgers and even had two slices of key lime pie. He drove home from their house stuffed like a turkey.
